Our Saturday

Yesterday our family of 4 had quite the busy day. We started the day off by driving down to Colorado Springs. We have recently met some super nice people who live down there so we went down to attend their daughter's 5th birthday party. It was a blast :) Yummy food, a princess pinata, bright pink frosting, how could you go wrong?! I even caught Hubby Mikey running (he was playing football with some of the older boy types -dads... whatever). Afterwards we stopped by the outlet stores in Castle Rock for a quick spending spree, buying up summer clothes for the tots. Then, last night we went to a soccer game. Bug really enjoyed the atmosphere. He became quite the pro at shelling peanuts and stomping his feet when prompted by the announcer. He even got into the mode of cheering, swept up by the encouraging shouts of the boys sitting behind us, "Go Rabbits GO!" Ethan yelled as enthusiastic as anyone in the stands, no matter how many times HM and I reminded him we were actually watching the Rapids. They won by the way, 2-1 and that's about how many we Rapids fans were out numbered by Chivas USA supporters.
