Kitty Fever
A lot of people around me are becoming proud new owners of tiny furry felines and I'm feeling the need to join them. Now a normal person wouldn't have a problem seeing cute widdle paws, pink widdle noses and move along with their normal routine unphased. I on the other hand am not quite that normal -evident, I'm sure, by my usage of "widdle"- I've mentioned in passing that I live in a zoo, and at times it sure feels like it. We have of course Bug (a 3 1/2 year old) and Sweetiepeas (a one year old) but we're also home and family to, Busta (a 7 year old), Hannah (a 7 year old), Meg (a 5 year old), Soma (a 5 year old), and Coby (a 4 year old). In reality I DO NOT want any more animals, I'd actually prefer to have two or three less, but obviously we're suckers when it comes to our four legged friends. I am definitely happy with who we have now, they all get along brilliantly and each have such wonderful personalities, I'm just hoping that in the future we can restrain ourselves in the number department.
That brings me back to my most recent bout of kitty fever. Currently Soma is our only cat (which I'm sure makes her happy) -- all of our others being moderately large dogs. I know I'd like to keep it that way, I'm just caught in a moment of weakness.
My new mantra:
I know that I will not go down to a shelter (today or any other day soon), I will not bring home another creature to our already full house and I will not have another widdle *ahem* little mouth to feed (however cute that mouth may be).
I just need to get Hubby Mikey to chant it with me, if we're weak together maybe we can be strong together.

Do it!
you're evil! Though funny enough when talking with Mikey about it yesterday I commented that we could say we're just trying to keep up with the number of children you have ;)
Don't do it! Cats are baaaaaad! lol I should know -- we have two. :)
You must resist. Resist!!
Well, if you must, you can have our cat.
No more pets, my friend. I'll curse you into pregnancy if you bring home another furry friend. I am pregnant, I have the power! LOL!!
Do it, Kate! The kids can always use another close-in-age cousin...
